That moment when you realize that the character you thought you had zero in common with is you from another age. My Tormented Vicar is me in university--let loose on the world with my Mom's apron strings still attached, struggling to figure out who I am and my place in the world, and wrestling with the Religion I was raised on and the Faith I was starting to feel, and, lastly, discovering that I was filled with conflicting feelings of terrible hate and immense love for family, friends, people, and myself.
Most of these songs came out after I became 'an adult' (years after college), but they still stir the ghosts of that time within me. As for the album cover, in the late 80s-early 90s, metal bands would inevitably have these terrifying album covers that would wind up on a shirt. Nine times out of ten, the cover had nothing to do with the songs, but they grabbed your eye and made you curious (well, me, at least). Black Sabbath, Metallica, Megadeth, and a whole shew of others went by this code, so I drew inspiration from those and put the design on a background reminiscent of a much-loved T-shirt.
Again, if there's adult language in the songs or objectable imagery in the videos, I apologize, but I hope you enjoy them, nonetheless.
