This is a 'speedpaint' I started a few days ago. Well, I meant it to be a speed paint, but I got carried away I didn't count how many hours this took...lets just say quite a few. I enjoyed the outline, and the background, which took half of the time combined as the fur. The fur was fun but time consuming, and took many tries and styles before I was satisfied with this. I needed an autumn-y deviation for this fall.

...I didn't realize relation/symbolism to the RL situation until after I started. This week has been, well, not bad, but a lot to take in. I think I need to do this more often....

No, I wouldn't rather work on projects like the comic. That takes real motivation, and right now I'm just not excited about it. I know from experience that working on something that has a deadline or feels like a burden isn't going to come out well. If you don't like what you're doing, it just doesn't show the right effort. Like, if you're playing a song on the piano that was assigned to you, something really long and tedious that you just don't enjoy, how much are you going to practice it, especially when you'd rather play something else? How do you think it will sound? Not as good as Clocks, right? Dui bu qi, but you should understand.

Kay. Didn't mean to go overly-dramatic here, but that's how it stands. So, comment if you like the pic. Some will not understand the title/opening words, some might relate to them, and some of you probly think I'm going through an emo phase. xD But that is fine! Just enjoy the art if you can, and hopefully someone can gain from this, learn how to just let go through your art.
