EDIT: updated with portfolio version, 18" x 13", May 2010ok so I meant to upload this a while ago, along with the other traditional stuff. but I guess I forgot about it. or I was saving it for last, and just...yeah.
This was done in my school's drawing class, as a final-final project. The assignment was to pick any animal or human subject, and separate it into simple shapes, then color and shade all the shapes with color pencils.
Right now it's still at school after being featured for the open house and some other district-wide showcase. I'll bring it home after the break.
maybe stick it on the wall in my room, seeing as we have no suitable frames in my house whatsoever. 
Medium: Prismacolor color pencils (the cool black-box ones

That is so amazing. I love the texture you got with the colored pencils, it really matches with the fun of a real cougar. Also, I like the shapes you slit it into, it captures musculature and volume really well AND looks nice. Great job!

my camera is an old little digital that runs out of battery like every 5 minutes :/ and i know you know like everything about lighting and stuff (obviously I don't haha xD) so if you could that would be super helpful :3
