I was in a sketching mood and so I just kinda started drawing the merponies. I was too lazy to go over any of them, but who knows? I might.
It would make an interesting storyline if Twilight decided to prove to Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash that merponies don't exist by casting a breathe under water spell on herself and investigating. Stumbling upon a merpony society, she befriends Rocky Reef and decides to keep it a secret from her friends and lie about meeting the merponies. However, to learn more about them, she can't resist visiting them often and keeps hanging out with the merponies. I suppose with Pinkie's senses and Dash's suspicion they find out Twilight was lying to them and get Rarity to perform the same spell on the two, and they catch Twilight red-hoofed. Twilight could then write a letter to Princess Celestia how friends should always admit when they are wrong to each other.
The episode could be called... "Something Fishy"
