Oooo. I read a book called "East" that was like an arctic setting of Beauty and the Beast.
I never read or saw Golden Compass, though. Was it good? All I heard was a bunch of religious issues about it.

Yeah, the book and movie got a lot of hoohaa from the church, because it challenged them quite specifically-despite it being set in a different world, time, UNIVERSE... Its about a young girl who discovers a 'compass' which points to different pictures and tells the 'truth' by these-and she's the only one who can read it. and people want it, yada yada ADVENTURE ENSUES.
it was my favorite book at a kid, but it was targeted at young adults-so I'm not sure how many will take it themselves.
who wrote this 'east' you speak of? sounds interesting!(Loved beauty and the beast~)

I love how Korra is looking at Pan. she's like 'What is that?' and Lyra is looking at her bending like 'What the hell is that?! How does she do that?' and it looks like Naga is chatting with Iorek :3 awesome work, I so fav this one!
