This is very stunning. The focus of the leaf and twig almost give it a magical look to it. It also gives a sense of coming out of a gloom because the background is very monotone, but the leaf is that burst of colour that everyone needs. When I first looked at this, my breath caught.
I do have to say that I wish there was a little more focus on the top part of the twig because part of the leaf is out of focus also. You also want to get the sensation of support of the leaf.
Your work is great and I would love to see more like this.

Did you draw this... if you did, I'm simply stunned. You have a true talent of drawing wonderful landscapes. They look so realistic, as if it could be the real thing. Even if you didn't, I'm still stunned.

Where did you take these photos! There absolutely fabulous... where I live, it's not that fascinating. Just your everyday photos of squirrels, sometimes a few birds.

Most of the shots in my gallery were taken in Germany, some of them in England and France. The most important thing is to be patient and to look for nice places. And if you're up to photograph little treasures like this leaf, it doesn't really matter in which country you are anyway.

I really don't have a digital camera, so I just take pictures... and I can't really look at them. *sigh*]
But Germany, England and France?! I always wanted to go there~
