After I had already given up getting a nice night shot at the Gardens by the Bay, I discovered this spot. Even though I was exhausted, I knew I would be mad at me if I didn't take a photo from there. Also, the clouds looked just so pretty for a long exposure.The perspective was somewhat tricky though due to the skew lake shore in the background. So, I just decided to give the photo a distorted look, which solved the issue for me.

I love the slightly drunk feeling you get when looking at this picture, cause it almost seems to suck you in and the colours are so vibrant (and of course, it's pink, which always reminds me of the pink elephant scene in Dumbo

OH my gosh!!! This is so incredible! I love how you used a slow shutter speed because it really brings the viewer's attention towards the brightly colored buildings (at least I think thats what they are) It also brings a sense of the colors getting brighter, at first lightly colored in the sky they get darker. The reflection also is a huge part of this shot, it really adds a lot of detail to the already beautiful photograph and adds more interest. I also love how when you view this shot for the first time you see the bright and powerful buildings, but as you look at it more you see the nature all around it, the trees, and even the lake. It gives a sense of the power that we have over nature.You also used just the right amount of contrast and lighting to be able to get those building so clear and so powerful at the same time as well as the whole scene. Overall this shot is like something out of a dream, the vibrant and unusual colors, the blurred reflection, and the wispy clouds. Seriously congrats on this shot, it is truly breathtaking, as it brought my breath away when I saw it!Β
