Xavi (X) | Shapeshifter | he/him

X is a shapeshifter who frequently steals the appearances of others in order to make himself better known in the world. He is prone to changing his entire physical appearance with nothing more than a photograph or image of some kind, but will often see someone who he likes the appearance of and claim that as his own.

Unfortunately he has shifted his form too many times for too long and no longer remembers what he originally looked like, nor can he revert back to it, (not that it bothers him, anyway).

The identity he most likes to assume (seen in the image above) is a small but up and coming idol in his local city. He is very popular with the ladies this way because of his good looks.

X's personality doesn't vary as much as his appearance, however, and he never tries very hard to imitate one either. He'll often just take the appearance of someone and be himself in their skin, as ironic as it is.

One could claim that he's "Uncomfortable in his own skin", considering how frequently he grows bored of his assumed identities, but doesn't have one of his own.

He can be rather smart-arsed at times, but is in general a smooth talker and enjoys being the center of attention- but only if it's positive. Mean comments or bad attention makes him retreat into himself, becoming defensive and prepared to abort his assumed skin.

Because of his consistent change of identity and his lonesome gift of being able to do so, X doesn't have friends. He's very non committal and despite how popular he is, he doesn't desire to have a partner. He fills the void with empty attention from adoring fans. He's very needy, however, and always craves more. Unfortunately he isn't trusting of others enough and doesn't want anyone to discover his secret.

X is very fond of stylish outfits, often donning bright colours, large coats and all kinds of jumpers, shirts and jackets. He really enjoys dressing up and will hardly wear the same outfit twice. He's seen as a trendsetter.

The sunglasses aren't just an accessory, either. They're to protect his eyes, which are very sensitive to any bright light. Without them he has nasty migraines and would be in a foul mood.

X finds it fairly easy to change his appearance to any human, and though he's capable of being some animal, creature, or even replicating a false, non-existent being (i.e. something like a dragon), it can be painful and without proper time to rest or transition into the new form, he could harm himself and be temporarily stuck at a halfway point- which is both painful and inconvenient.
