Description
Coat of arms I created for the Kingdom of BavariaIt is composed of:
- Arms of the Upper Palatinate [golden lion rampant on black field]
- Arms of Tyrole [red eagle on white field] and Carinthia [black panther rampant on white field]
- Arms of Upper and Lower Bavaria [blue panther rampant on white field]
- Arms of Austria [black eagle on golden field]
- Bavarian lozenges (symbolising the House of Wittelsbach and Bavaria as a whole)
- Imperial Crown of Austria (since the Habsburg were the highest point of any Bavarian monarchy and Bavaria proper never reached the status of kingdom until the mid 1800's)
The Escuthceon is supported by a golden lion (representing the house of Wittelsbach) and a black eagle (representing the house of Habsburg)
