Bleeding hearts and daffodils,they go hand in hand.
Dicentras with their leaning vines,
daffodils that stand.
Dripping their sad emotions,
or trumpeting with smiles.
To get you through the sadness,
to get you through your trials.
Left at a funeral,
or given to a friend.
Blooming like a bullet wound,
or wilting in the end.
Bleeding hearts and daffodils,
grew in the garden side by side.
I keep them in my diary,
with tears and specks of pride.

hey this is cool.. i know i dont know guys.. but i feel like i can put some charectors to u both.. it's strange huh? weldone.. it's a really funky poem and i always read into stuff to find meaning and this one means alot.

This poem is beautifully written. I like the imagery a lot. It doesn't make flowers seem all pretty and beautiful as they are normally but almost beautiful in a different sense. I like the sad tone this poem gives off.

I love this poem! Reminds me so much of the flowers in my mother's garden.... she has bleeding hearts by the daffodils *plus bleeding hearts are so beautiful!! *
