Darth Vader? Intravenous, usually. That suit has a full life-support system built into it. It helps him breath, supplies nutrients and water, recycles waste, and can even protect him in the vacuum of space and let him dip in molten lava. It's even lightsaber resistant, hence why Luke had to swing so hard to cut through his robotic arm.
