thank you very much. i love paris, i love eiffel tower. i know it's just a metal construction but i think it fits so well with the city outline

I totally agree! It would seem overrated and it is just a simple monument (I mean, it's not too complex of a monument or building as Notre Dame, and it's mostly one material) but it's a perfect fit for Paris! It's also unique enough to stand out amoung the stone buildings, but it blends in as well with its drab gray colouring. So fascinating~!

exactly, and also the surrounding parks are well designed, all are in rhyme with the tower. paris is very fascinating in many aspects! it's not like canada!

So very true, I just loved walking along the Seine too, and it was spectacular at night, especially the courtyard of the Louvre Museum! Definately not like Canada xD Although we have a lot of amazing campgrounds here, I love camping in the summer, and it's beautiful in the fall with the different coloured leaves! I guess what we lack in monuments and cityscapes, we make up for in the great outdoors! I also loved the weather in Paris in March, it's so warm compared to the weather right now in Canada, which isn't even up to where London is right now either xD

well yeah, indeed, paris is a 'modern' city with all the human-made constructions, architecture, but actually in canada (well i haven't been there yet but heard a lot from friends living there) you have the nature as the architect, which makes things much more natural and peaceful. another nice thing about paris for me is the history, you really feel that it grasps you as a whole. and yeah, about the weather, it was 20 degrees, for god's sake! here i came back to -1 with snow again, damn im so tired of swedish weather!
