While I was burried in radioactive dump, I wasn't completely oblivious of the rendering stuff I did back in my days. One day I figured out a nice workaround for my problem with Scarlett's original boots.

The thing was: If you let autofit do the job of fitting your old V4 boots to genesis 2 it completely fucks up the heels and toe part of the footwear. You can see it in the top picture. I did get along with this by tweaking and bending the single toes of the shoe. But It still is all jittery and wrinkly... especially the tip of the high heel.

But one day, one day it struck me like a bolt: I now had the power of turing solid objs to conforming clothing! (yeah, well actually everyone who uses DAZ Studio has it... but anyway!) PLUS I had the power of turning conforming clothing into solid objs! (yeah, well actually everyone who uses DAZ Studio has it... but anyway!) PLUSSS I had the power of tweaking solid objs so they match the geneis2 shape better! (haHA! Only those who use blender... or any other 3D-editing programm have that power!)

Short story shorter: I exported the V4 Boots as objs, tweaked them in blender to match genesis2 and turned them into conforming clothing in DAZ studio again. Now they're much smoother and the tip of the heels isn't all messed up any more And a perfect goddess like scarlett deserves nothing less than perfect boots for her gorgeous feet!

I'm going to proceed updating my other clothing for the girls that way. Especially shirts and footwear need that kind of workaround for fitting nicely.
