I'm so glad that I visited your page for the Llama. I find this treasure!!!! A well-deserved DD. Congrats. And thanks so much for making and sharing trick <3
Since you've mention about the trick for the nose......I think that would be another one deserving the DD. Well, and it will certainly help the people like me. Nose is another monster I have to face in every time I draw.
Please..please ?

I defiantly know what you mean about noses though they are beasts T^T I am currently trying to come out with a trick for them, hopefully a simple shape you can attach to this along side more detailed instructions on clean up, I will credit you as soon as I upload it so you will get an extra notice when its done !
I just need to finish a tutorial on wings and I can get stated on noses ~

As a thank you, here is a trick for you to try that is not being taught in any classes I've seen: It is natural to line things up on a 45, 90, and 180 degree angle. To add movement, take things a little off of these angles. There are times you want rest or anticipation, but other times you want movement. Go to your digital tools and play with some sketches in layers. Just move an arm or the legs a little bit and see the difference.
As far as mannequins, go to E-bay and check out the 1/6 action figures from China. These things have 20 plus points of articulation, removable hands, feet, and heads, plus OMG! cool little accessories. Neither Barbie nor GI Joe ever were able to touch their own face. Base bodies are as low as $30, although complete characters can be well over $500.
Have fun!

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry! i wrote a response to this weeks ago but it must not have sent! Pardon my horrifically late reply now
I wanted to thank you so much for your kind words, it really means allot to me! Thank you for being so supportive
Oh that is so helpful!! That's a really awesome way to see how things work I must say, hey maybe you could make a tutorial on it ~ I bet it would help like so many people! I'm going to try it myself as soon as I finish my other projects for people!
Oh really? OvO I had no idea you could get them that cheep! Holy cow I need to check that out! I know having some of them around would be a major help but I always thought it was like minimum $200
Have you ever seen those ball joint dolls that actually have jointed fingers? They are a fortune but they are really impressive!

This is pretty neat, and I'm sure you're aware of this, but this is a vast simplification on how eyes work. This especially comes into effect on the far eye, because if the head turns enough, the eyeball will actually eclipse the far section of the eyelid, which you won't get here. Still, neat little trick.

Oh I know ~ ! This is just to break it down and show the distortion in its simple lest terms, I'm actually going to do a follow up here soon discussing the eye in more detail!
