Okay!so this I am incredibly proud of. I'm using the new scan feature I mentioned before and colorized my original pencil lines digitally. You can see the softness of my original lines blended stunningly with the way I color right now, I couldn't be happier\(>v<)/
This is the original but there are others I'm going to upload with the different background colors just because.
This is Cophira, who I recently adopted from
She is most likely going to be my D&D half elf character, but I might end up placing her in a real book as well because she is just damn gorgeous

after commenting I read your description of using the pencil lines in the coloring. I also often try to retain some of the pencil lines when I color digital sketches. I like how you have utilized the technique ...what's the scan feature you mentioned before?
your pencil lines look very smooth and flowing,I admire that, as mine are often rough and sketchy.

Thank you so much, I'm so glad that you do! And the scan feature is this really cool expansion they added to the drawing app I currently use to do most of my digital work ~ it's amazing and I absolutely love it because apart from having to clean up the sketch a wee bit it is super fast and super easy. All you have to do is take a picture of your sketchbook and it automatically converts it into a PNG drawing, basically scooping your lines off the page so you can color directly under it in one click ~ if you'd like I can give you the name of the app or show you an example of what I mean!

Yep! But you can get it on almost any other device I believe,
It's called
Autodesk sketch book
and you want the one with the orange icon with a pencil on it ~ it's starts out free so you can see if you like it then if you want to buy the full version later it's only like $5. I absolutely love it because you can save png files, have multiple layers and there are a bunch of brushes in the full version as well.

OH. MY . GOSH. that would be amazing!!! you should totally do that! this background will eventually be a F2U thing like the others so you could use it for what ever characters you created for the story! that would be just really cool,
