Okay, so lately I've been leaving off on updating my commission/trades/reqs/prizes list, practically ignoring it since school had me too buried to do anything.

NO MORE. It's completely up-to-date with what I'm working on, what stage I'm in, who I owe and whether things have been paid or not.

Please note, that if you requested a commission or a trade and your name is NOT on the list, this is not an error-- I have either not received payment for your commission or you have not uploaded your half of the trade. In these cases, after an extended length of time I will nullify agreements to keep my life simple and not continue wringing my hands over you. Try again another day when I reopen trades, as they are currently on a very, very limited basis.

Okay, so the New Year kinda came and went without any heralding from me, but I'm going to be a big girl and address that now. (yes, I'm aware January is nearly over)

So since I'm doing this... well, basically the week before my birthday, I'm calling it a birthday resolution instead.

I'm turning 24 this year; that's finally the age where I can file my taxes independently and such. I'll also have to move out of student housing at the end of March, so I'll be getting an apartment on my own, too. Honestly, I'm such a late bloomer. =w= So lots of things are going to be happening between now and April 1.

1. PatreonI'll be opening a Patreon as soon as the graphics for it are finished. It exists even now of course, I just haven't been actively linking it since the graphics aren't finished and there isn't much to show. Naturally, there are benefits, prizes, giveaways-- I plan on doing much more there, especially once my premium ends here. I want to take myself serious as an artist of all sorts of mediums, which leads to my next goal...

2. DiligenceBecause I'm such a procrastinator (at least I'll admit it nicely...) this is really, really high on my list of priorities this year. I want to be a diligent worker; someone earnest, a real go-getter. I'm too easy on myself, so this is a hard task. I can't seem to put down here what I'm thinking... but I want to be a serious-minded person that can do whatever they decide on. This is going to effect something I plan to put into action this year, my next goal:

3. Class Audits; Skill up!I attend an art school as a Web Design major, which isn't very art-intensive. You have to know colors, design principles, what's pleasing to the eye and such... but your individual artistic ability really doesn't have much to do with anything. So starting next quarter, I intend to audit (sit in on, basically) courses for the animation students. Character creation, perspective, anatomy-- there's plenty of them, and by the time I graduate I want to be able to hand-animate simple things or scenes. I'll never be a 3D artist-- I don't think I can push my luck that far. Still, I'm going to take a beating and come out swinging. I'm determined!

I could list a couple or three more... but I honestly think even just these are very ambitious. I can't even say these three are in the right order, because Diligence is really at the top of my mental list, and it will probably be a lifelong struggle for me. I also need to thank a lot of people who have been SO UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME this year:
