I dig your style. Its down to earth and borderline rugged. Shes beautiful. Love the talons too

That's quite the remarkable style you have there! Β The colors are soft, subtle, the color accents really give off a nice natural feel to the owl, while the black lines adds an almost mystical quality.Β
All in all, beautiful piece ^^

I read previous comments if you need an idea for backgrounds, here's a couple:Β
- Barn corner with wooden white oak, with small pile of hay to resemble a nest on the old beam.Β
- A tree, or in the cold wilderness looking out wards. (More detail could be added with a small mouse in the grass to resemble pray)
- Or be a massive fan of Harry potter and recreate a cage, and when he found Hedgewig in Diogonal alley
(Sorry for any spelling mistakes)

the volume you achieved with this is impressive, and the texture is just right. but i think it needs some kind of background and maybe a little work on the eye , to make it more alive.Β

It doesnt need to be a full scene for a background. Sometimes just a shadow or a spot of light can do the job. A splash of color ir another object related to the main theme. It depends on what youre trying to comunicate
