While on patrol Metahuman encounters Symbol. Like any heroes meeting for the first time they briefly clash for no good reason but quickly find an understanding. Symbol shares that she doesn’t know much about herself. Her real name, her past, her origin, all shrouded to her. She only knows that she has superpowers and should do good.

There's a reason Symbol doesn’t have a real name, a birthday, anything… she is the idea of a superhero created by a child and magically brought to life. Plucky, friendly, polite, and brave, she embodies everything good about the world as understood by that child.

Symbol has the amazing power to conjure up any symbol she can think of and have it affect the world around her. Perhaps she generates a stop sign, causing some object’s motion to cease. Or she generates a Swiss cross, instantly healing herself or her comrades. In a way, what she can do is only limited by her imagination.

But because she is the magical creation of a child, his whims dictate her nature. Her backstory could change at any minute. Her powers could grow or recede in strength… or even change entirely! Will Symbol be able to break free from his control? Or will she be his pawn — his toy — forever?
