The more I learn art (general art, including drawing, CG, photos, etc), the more I value strange and neutral colours and that's why I often feel frustrated by raw and bright colours like that. If you really want to make a high-quality photo then never be afraid of spending more time on it. Though I don't study photography, I have often seen high-rated photos around and I just judge your works according to that experience. Of course, not all my comments are right, so you should be selective, too, and I think you are good enough to know the right ones .
Another thing is that I'm a very honest commentator. I state directly the good and bad things in one's artworks (and many people have been frustrated by these comments). There's no bad intention here and I just want to help. But they don't get it. However, I'm glad that you're not one of those people . In the other hand, I'm willing to receive honest comments from others. They help you do much better rather mindless short praises.
Keep up good work .

You're just cool .
Well, currently I'm a student of Urban Planning faculty, University of Architecture, HCM city. In the first 2 years Architecture and Urban Planning students are learning the same things. That's what it is in Vietnam . We're to learn a little of art (and sculpture in the 3rd year), but only basic things and actually they are not really enough for you to make serious artworks. Though I admit that basic knowledge is also important and it does improve my skill, most of the CG techniques I've got until come from being self-taught (seeking tutorials, browsing the Internet, asking talented or experienced artists and designers, etc).
HDR ? Is it the same HDR I know in 3D ?
In 3D we have a new type of materials made of High Dynamic Ranged Image (HDR image, or HDRI). These materials are extremely effective in realistic enviroments, especially for reflections and refractions.
Actually I know several digital artists who have suceeded with mouses. But they are very rare, and they must try much harder than us . It's true that you need a graphic tablet to fix and manip photos for better quality. Why don't you get one ?
Every of us used to be a beginner, and many have become pros just by self-teaching. And of course it's really a challenging process. So what we can do now is to do our best and be patient .
p.s. : I'm afraid I'm not patient enough .
