One thing I could never figure out - why did the makers of the show decide that Goa'uld Ha'tak should be three-sided? In the movie, Ra's pyramid ship was 4-sided, and this made sense, as the 4-sided stone pyramids of Earth were intended as landing sites for ships like Ra's (though it suddenly occurs to me that if your ship needs a giant mountain of stone before it can land, probably "ur doin' it wrong". The show even depicts 3-sided craft landing on 4-sided pyramids, always from an angle that glosses over how the hell a 3-sided ship fits over a 4-sided base Always seemed odd to me. Was the 4th side that much more expensive? XD

I only wonder one thing, since the base is a triangle, and a pyramid, viewed from above is square, how do they fit?
Been wondering about his for some time now.

I know, right? Doesn't make sense, does it? Maybe the ha'taks are like TARDISes - they're squarer on the inside?

You know, I used to think that this ship was powerful, but then I remember all the different Goa'uld Motherships that have been destroyed throughout the show, and not to mention the movies.  I feel sort of bad for them, but I give them points for trying, I mean how could they beat humanity, after all, they have plot armor.

I think this excerpt found here  should also be interesting.

"For all their advanced technology, the Goa'uld are the equivalent of a semi-competent Third World army: very capable when it comes to killing peasants and fighting each other, but ultimately hopeless against the modern, disciplined military organizations of Earth. Lampshaded  in one episode where O'Neill compares human weapons to Jaffa weapons."

O'Neill: "This... (holds up a Jaffa staff weapon) is a weapon of terror. It's made to intimidate the enemy. This... (holds up the P90) is a weapon of war. It's made to kill your enemy."

I found that interesting, especially the first excerpt. I guess it's true, but that does not mean that humanity is 'invincible," as most sci-fi portrays us as, though it could be me just being pessimistic.

Oh, a good example for this should be "War of The Worlds," our millions of years worth of fighting experience meant  nothing, we only survived because the aliens inability to handle earth's bacteria. And who's to say other alien race's do not have millions if not eon's worth of fighting eperience themselves, and can not adapt to fight us as well. Btw don't worry about the late reply.

That makes perfect sense, seeing as America gained it's independence in part of the British not adapting to our use of guerrilla tactics, despite the British soldiers having more fighting experience than most of the American fighters at the time.

Not meant to be sarcasm, just thought it'd be chuckle-worthy.  Guess it fell kinda flat.

The problem with the internets, you can't always tell what people really mean.  It was kind of funny though.
