Waiting for the TIE Avenger, one of my favorites of TIE. TIE-Defender is cooler, yes, but he is too... overkill. 4 cannons, 2 ions, 16 rockets, 30 SP shield, 175 MGLT and 165 PDF... but, if they changed ions to lasers, that would be much better fighter. And Avenger really should be main fighter of Empire, because it have cost only in 80k credits higher, then Interceptor, but have shields and hyperdrive. And rockets.
