gosh, you probably spent like a hundred ours to finish this.. did u had any idea about how your paint would look like when finished?

I always start with a rough idea of what the drawing will look like, the subject matter, composition and so on; however the details and symbols emerge later on, and at the end of the day it's those 'last touches' that add meaning to my work.

Very VERY nice, man! I've tried stippling before and gosh is it time confusing and difficult to get just right... I'm loving the surrealistic look to it along with the stylized look mixed in with the more realistic person in the eyes...

respect! i used to do pointillism as a youngster with a 0.13 rotring ink pen...its quite a labour of love.ive now done a lot of mezzotint printmaking which is kinda similar.you put millions of holes in a copper plate so it prints as a solid black,then burnish these holes
down so they hold less ink and give different shades ,back to a flat surface again that
prints white.good stuff

i'll take this as a compliment
it can take anything between a couple of days to several weeks. this particular drawing is quite old so i can't remember how long it took exactly, but about a week i think.
