OHOHOHO, FINALLY, I COSPLAY THIS SERIES *spazzes with happiness*

Been waiting/ recruiting ever since I started cosplay two years ago for this team of mine to form/ cosplay today. And though we only had half strength at this shoot, it was a reasonably successful one. (Though it turns out I had a fever that day heh. Can't be said Hiei's not hot. :bricked: )

I chose this outfit of Hiei's mostly for two reasons:
1) I can't do the topless or sleeveless versions due to the sad lack of awesomely hard muscles
2) the other version I contemplated was the all black cloak version, and as much as I like it, it was hard to figure out how to sew, if I wanted it really accurate, and it wouldn't stand out as much, being all black and nondescript (which is kinda the point of it, I swear Kurama forced Hiei into this flashier outfit just for the Dark Tournament)

Don't know to be glad or sad the color of this cloth turned out to be exactly identical to the in-series color. That is, it is actually a purplish blue color, but turns out blue in almost all pictures. OTL Sewing/ cutting bias for this was a heck of a learning experience though. At least I have added another sewing skill to my rather small inventory of skills.
