Awakening in a dungeon-like room, Ruby found herself cruelly chained, treated more like an animal than a person. A metal collar, cold and constricting, encircled her neck. She was in excruciating pain, her once-human hands now grotesquely transformed into Grimm claws.

As she caught a glimpse of her reflection, the horrifying truth sent shockwaves through her mind: she had become a Grimm. Speechless and horrified, her thoughts echoed in her mind, "This can't be happening to me. I've become a Grimm. I'm now a slave to Salem, a part of her accursed Grimm army."

In this dreadful moment, Cinder's voice pierced the gloom of the room, "Well, my pet, how are you feeling?" Her words dripped with cruelty. "I initially planned to kill you, but turning you into my Grimm pet is a far more fitting fate." Cinder's malicious delight was evident as she continued, "How do you like your new form, Miss Red? You can't speak or fight back anymore, courtesy of your transformation into a Grimm. But let's put that to the test."
