Dakota’s Meganium

When Zoey started out as a new trainer in the Johto Region, her first choice was the Grass Type Pokemon Chikorita. It soon became one of Darokta’s best friends and later evolved into Bayleef, during Dakota’s gym battle against Whitney in Goldenrod City, earning her the Plain Badge. Bayleef finally evolved into Meganium, while protecting Daokta from a herd of rampaging Rhyhorn.

Dakota’s Azumarill

While on her way to Violet City to challenge her first gym, Dakota stopped at a local spring to soak her aching feet. It was there she encountered a very playful Azurill that enjoyed her company. When Dakota had to leave, Azurill didn’t want her to leave. So it decided to follow her on her journey, Dakota saw how it was following her and decided to catch it. Azuril eventually evolved into Marill, while Dakota was training to challenge the Cianwood City Gym, then finally into Azumarill when Dakota started her new journey in the Hoenn Region. When it stumbled onto a Water Stone, while it was swimming in a pond with Dakota.

Dakota’s Skitty

When Dakota entered a Pokemon Fashion show in the Hoenn Region and won, she received a Pokemon egg as the prize. When it hatched, it turned out to be a Skitty, which Dakota just simply took to her heart.

Dakota’s Lopunny

When Dakota started her new journey in the Sinnoh Region, she encountered a Buneary that was hanging around a field of flowers. The 2 of them began to bond with each other and they became good friends, so Dakota decided to catch Buneary and have it join her on her journey. Buneary later evolved into Lopunny, during Dakota’s gym battle against Candice in Snowpoint City earning her the Icicle Badge.

Dakota’s Skiploom

While Dakota was on her way to Hearthome City, Dakota stopped by Emeragrove Town where she encountered a group of Hoppip, that took a liking to her. One Hoppip in paticular liked her a lot and decided to come with her on her journey, Hoppip later evolved into Skiploom, defending Dakota from a swarm of Beedrill.

Dakota’s Alomomola

While on her way to Sunnyshore City, Dakota spotted an Alomomola swimming in the ocean that had swam down from the Kalos Region (Not knowing that’s where they were native to at the time). Dakota thought it was so pretty, she had to catch it.
