Legend of the Five Rings, RPG

Kitsune Kumiko, a kitsune spirit in her mortal form.
She is a shapeshifter. She grew up as a human in Kitsune Mori with her Kitsune family. Her family and daimyo know of her true form. Her adopted father helped one of her kitsune children and she granted his wish for children two-fold, by becoming his daughter (after receiving permission from the Lady of the Forest) and by helping with her adopted parents' infertility issues. She has a younger brother who is the heir, which she is just fine with.

In exchange to train at the Kistuki Magistrate School, she owes Togashi a favor--he also knows of her true form. She trained in kenjutsu at the Mirumoto school and can wield her katana one handed.

While creating Kumiko, the GM and I couldn't agree on which source to exclusively use for the Fox Clan colors. One source said silver and orange, another said silver and red-brown. I think red-brown sound like the color of dried blood and reminds me of periods. So I went more with the orange and silver with her outfit. There is some green and gold to represent her school colors as well. Her hakama pants are black

Her hair is black-blue. Her eyes are dark blue. Her hair comb is gold with etched designs and contains a blue stone with two coral-colored stones.

In her spirit form she is a cream-colored fox with nine tails, light blue eyes, and midnight (black-blue) markings on her paws, tail tips, and ear tips. She can be as tall as 6ft or as small as a normal size fox.

She wears a red silk ribbon around her neck as a totem as one of her taboos. She can't lose it or she will remain in her fox form.

I forgot to draw her katana, tessen, and wakazashi. The focus of this drawing was her clothes. It doesn't look as nice in this photograph, but the sleeve gradient is really cool. I am really happy with how it turned out. I used a really light blue-violet copic for the silver of her haori. I combined some Chinese articles with her traditional Japanese attire. Rokugan is supposed to be a bit of a mesh of a few feudal Asian cultures. I prefer the over-coat type of clothing of the Chinese and the sleeve style of the kimono. I also prefer this belt type to the obi for my character.

She has a young dependent, an orphan from the disbanded Hare clan. She is fascinated with Nezumi and has a Nezumi friend.

There are a lot of plans for her. She may be marrying an NPC.

I wish I could scan this! DX I picked one out, but we need to wait until we both have jobs again before we can afford it!
