A creative redo of "Upon this Rock" I missed Black and white.Related content

black and white shows off the textures so well. I love the smoothness of the shape of the stone in contrast with the shape of the flower being far from perfect, while the petals are smooth in contrast with the rougher texture of the rock. Great tonal range to make it effective black and white print. Flower petals have bowed just a tiniest touch too far on the top right - i like them bowing some - but too disappearance and over the middle seems a little too extreme.

I love B&W just for that reason. Take away the color and all you can do is focus on the details and the subject. That stone is so cool, I think I've had it for a year not know what I was going to do with it until now.
