Description Okay I know many people will say if you can't take a critique you have no future as a writer/artist etc. and I myself have faced critiques in the past and I wanted to whine and cry and scream "Grammar Nazi Alert!" but still I have grown and I'm more open to critique on my work because once I finally did stop crying I did take their advice and I did learn from their words.

Still I do feel this "if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen" attitude is a little mean-spirited, as many of us are sensitive about our work being shown publicly and some are more so than others, while constructive criticism is a good thing and can help many writers/artists out it is best to show some respect for their work, the last thing we want is an entire paragraph of our mistakes without hearing anything good. The classic case of "I like it but . . ."

For me as a writer, yes if you're going to take the time and effort to write a paragraph of my grammar mistakes, then some positives opinions would be appreciated or any opinions whatsoever on my characters, plot, themes, etc. even if it's more criticism, but some critics didn't even mention such things.

Anyway you get the point of the stamp, I don't think I need to say more.
