I love Ian, that's the sort of personality several of my cats have had.
Wernette seems good, kind of a comic-relief and counter-ballance for Ian. However, his name seems feminine... You by no means have to change it, just expressing my concern.
Max- being young, and a cat, I imagine he would be playful or immature, still kittenish compared to the others. Granted, there's nothing wrong with breaking this stereotype as long as you express why he's so levelheaded through character development. maybe he was the oldest in his litter, automatically making him more serious?
Poko- Boy or Girl? *insert over-used Professor Oak joke here* I like Poko's one gray ear, it's charming in a cute way. if Poko's a girl, it's nice to have a female leader among so many other males, and that would develop her character. If Poko's a guy, it would keep the all-guy atmosphere, and make him more relate-able to the rest of the team.

poko is the ambiguous.
but they keep up with everyone else, Poko just sort of trolls everyone since other people (besides the main 4) are confused by their gender.

oh yes they are also for a comic, but right now my laptop is broken so that needs to wait a bit.
Max also tends to be the more laid back guy who just happens to go with whatever the other guys are doing, they only hang around him since he tends to behave more maturely.
There another side cat named "Venn" who is even younger than max.
Imagine this:
Poko, wern, ian - 16 yrs
Max- 14 yrs
Venn - 12
To be relateable to humans. But they all think Venn is annoying since hes younger and tends to appear like hes "sucking" up to Wernette or Poko. Since Wernette and Poko are "celebrities" among the cat community. Ian and Max are their good friends but poko alway sfeels venn is trying to kiss up and Wernette just talks to him out of pity.
Once he leaves they all just start going "UGH HES SO ANNOYING WHY DO WE INVITE HIM?"
cause hes younger.
