If you ask me, I'm pretty sure that's a chastity belt, and moreover Teisel gave it to her, would make sense since a big point of the plot's game is Tron proving herself to Tiesel by saving him from Loath, so it would fit that Teisel is very protective of her since he's the only family she has, besides, they're pirates, they know the dangers of the world (at least Teisel should);but of course she doesn't know that.
And crapcom is known for pushing the sex appeal button on every game they've made, so...

Playing the games the world of Megaman Legends never seemed to be that dark to me, the more adult stuff I remember was getting the dirty magazines for that clubhouse in the first game. But the explanation makes sense since that metal panty is really distracting and it was the thing I was staring at the most from Tron, it really look uncomfortable to wear.
I thought the name Crapcom was for them recycling Street Fighter 2 every damn time. If any of their games needed sex appeal it was the Megaman X games since those where hard to play and the story bored me.

And don't forget in legends 1 and 2 Megaman walks in Roll in the bathroom when she's on the middle of it, it even plays a victory fanfare after a quick voice scene and a fade to black, like if Megaman was saying "yeah! Score". Those crapcomnians, always had a dirty mind, that's why I liked them I tell you what.
I like to think crapcom was because they buried Megaman after Inafraud left, but maybe was more than that, like the SFxTekken fiasco.
You wanna talk about recycling on fighters? How about Morrigan? She's like the the character that has been in more games other then her original series, and in all of them she had her exact same sprite (and the same 3 special moves), and when she finally got a make over she got that awful 3d model from Tatsunoko, which of course was recycled for Marvel 3 AND infinity...At least she got the best super in all fighting game history (eternal slumber from MvC1).
Supposedly Zero was to be female(but I don't know if that's just an urban legend because of the questionable placement of his green jewels). But yeah, I see how someone might not like the "story" of X games if you didn't play the original when it came out (meaning playing them as a kid), or just played the X games ; for me, I came from the original (one of the very first nes games I played was MM2) and the story was cooler years later (X4) when I learned it was all connected to the original.

I noticed, Morrigan was my favorite of all the crossover games and I always was attracted to use her.. and it was until the Playstation version of Capcom Vs. SNK 2000 that I really notice how awful Morrigan looked to the rest as her sprite was just so out of place with everyone. I'm not the biggest Capcom fan and the only property of theirs that I'm looking forward too is MVs.C Infinity and that's only because they finally made a story mode for it. Hopefully Morrigan get's some screentime in that game cause I'm just tired of her just being there with no reason or explanation.
The UDON Capcom comics I think finally gave some much needed backstory except that from what I heard from the fans those aren't even consider Canon which just annoys me especially since I want to see some actual story done with Morrigan.
The one Megaman game I did play was MegamanX4 where I wasn't able to beat the final boss and the story was hard to follow. The only thing I remember liking about that game was Iris.

Well, Morrigan does have backstory, aside from what the Udon comic did (which, if I'm not mistaken, covers Darkstalkers and Nightwarriors), I think it's pretty good, the little they got anyway. You know, that she was born into the makai royalty, one of the, if not, last of the succubi, and also very high power for her kind; the current ruler of Makai (Belial), took her in, and with his providence he saw Morrigan was so powerful she would grow out of control and destroy everything, even herself when she grow up, so he took her soul, and divided into 3, one eventually becoming Lilith, and another part he hid within himself; and at the end of Vampire Saviour, she merged up with Lilith and recovered a part of her soul and power . And now currently Morrigan stands as the ruler of Makai after Belial's death, but she doesn't care about that and continues to go into the human world to find some fun; also, while not specified in the end of Vampire Saviour, I think it's safe to imply she allowed Lilith to continue to exist as her own entity, merging only for combat, like in the intro on MvC1 (I would think she find it more fun that way instead of be one altogether), you should play namcoXcapcom1, she does get pretty high screen time on it, I enjoyed it very much, seeing how all the chars interact with each other WAAAYYYY better than the shitty netherealm-wannabe story they did on SFV.
So what could happen in an hypothetical 4th game, is focusing the story on a civil war on makai due to the hole in power balance, and how the result of that would affect the human world, maybe ending with her recovering the part of her soul left within Beilal somehow and she becoming queen of makai for good? I don't know.
Hehe, writing this, I realize more how alike are Morrigan and Haruhi, you know, both female protagonists of their stories (I don't care, Demitri is just a punk trying to be recognized by the reigning powers of makai, she's the queen), want to have fun above all, most powerful, and, recently Haruhi did split herself too, its like 2 sides of the same coin :V

That's one thing I did enjoy learning and something the comics portray was seeing that Morrigan actually has more power and is capable of destroying the Makai realm, kinda like Phoenix minus the angsty dying parts.
(I don't care, Demitri is just a punk trying to be recognized by the reigning powers of makai, she's the queen)
GLAD that I'm not the only one who thinks that, Demitri was goddamned annoying to me. Just a lame version of Dracula, I seriously never got Capcom's insistence on making him and Morrigan the game's main couple or why they keep connecting them in the games. Seriously it was the Jelsa for me of the 90's, it was everywhere in the Anime promo art and I hated it.
As for a Darkstalkers 4, yeah I wanted that in the early 2000's and I have given up hope that it might happen as Capcom won't touch anything unless it's Resident Evil or another recycle version of Street Fighter 2. So for me the series ended with Vampire Savior. However I would like to see what a future storyline could be and see the humans finally reacting to the Darkstalkers and join the Civil War in a attempt to take control of Makai and Morrigan taking power to bring balance to the entire realm and getting rid of the real threats, whatever the new evil is and monsters like Demitri who are just warlords.
Thus Morrigan becoming Queen of Makai and stopping the mindless violence and chaos that has plague it for years, bringing a new age to Makai of civilization and progress, essentially modernizing Makai into a more futuristic Kingdom with Morrigan as a Founder who saved it from chaos (kinda like what Anakaris did in his game ending with his homeland in Vampire Savior) and uniting all the species and humans with peace.
A real ending to Morrigan's story, just incase Capcom will abandon Darkstalkers for their cash-cow franchises which we know they will.

Oh yeah, now I remember, the comic did cover Vampire Savior, I haven't read much Udon because I was apprehensive, didn't know if it counted as canon or not, I guess it does, the only other I've read is the ones focusing on Ibuki, mainly because I wanted to see Makoto since I like her.
Hehe, I hope you never beat vampire savior with Demitri, you're gonna be madrrr than a bitch :V
Morrigan has gotten mixed love from crapcom, like I remember a long time ago when I was searching stuff about her, it said that according to crapcom, Chunli is stronger, like, gtfo, no way in hell; maybe what I read was a misinterpretation, because on her story mode on Pocket Fighter, is that she embarks on a quest to show the world she is the most beautiful and strongest woman in the world, after seeing a pic of Chunli, only to be out shined by Lilith at the end for being cute and petite (now I know where the masochist win pose from MvC1 came from :V).
But yeah, several questions remain for her -Will she ever regain her full power? -Will the conditions of makai drive her to take her rightful place as queen of makai? Although it would seem unlikely that she will just settle on one place, but I wouldn't mind if she were to change her ways, you know, like maturing in some way, being able to enjoy life as it is, and not being in this frenzy on wanting new excitement all the time and realizing that the way to enjoy life is living like you want, not how you think you want... hmmm, now that I think about it, I think that already happened, because of her dialogue on her ending on VS, like "The world just looks so beautiful, I feel like I can do anything, is it because I merged with that girl?" or something along those lines, at least I think that would be the logical "conclusion" for her character personality, if reflecting on Haruhi and Saitama(One Punch Man) has some credit to it, all 3 chars are very similar in this regard, Haruhi not wanting to be just one more of the bunch, that's why she wants to meet aliens, espers and time travelers, and Saitama becoming "numb" emotional speaking because he can't find an opponent equal or more stronger than him; Haruhi has already started to it, she just hasn't realized it, Saitama is like halfway I would wager. So yeah, "spoiler" alert, that will be the ending of One Punch, Saitama being able to enjoy life again, not finding someone stronger than him, that will not happen, is not the point of the story, maybe my prediction is not either, but definitively I can say Saitama finding someone that gives him a run for his money is not it.

Actually THAT'S THE REASON why I hate Demitri cause I played as him and saw his ending in Vampire Savior, seriously what an asshole! He already had everything I hate in a bad guy (arrogant personality, Big ego, looking like M Bison, ugly hair, being a vampire) but THAT ending just cemented his status as just pure evil. He pretty much made Morrigan his eternal prisoner for life even if she's turn into a statue as her only way to deny him her body. It actually made me very glad that I kick his ass as Jedah, even if Jedah's ending was the scariest thing I have seen in a Crapcom game.
Chun-Li stronger than Morrigan? Yeah I don't think so, as much as Crapcom wants us to believe that the Street Fighters are the world's strongest warriors I don't believe it .. they are still freaking STREET FIGHTERS. Chun-Li at least is a cop but she's still human, there is no way her hot legs are stronger than Morrigan's wings.
I actually haven't finished watching One Punch Man, but I hope to get there since that's one of the characters that everyone loves from it.

Yep, same here, it happened when I was in middle school, there was this little store where they only had one single arcade, and it was vampire savior, so I played it once every day after school on the way home, and I was trying to beat the game with each character; then came Demitri's turn, lol, I remember beginning to like his play style and then... the ending, welp, that's the last I'm ever gonna see from this guy forever and ever; good thing they put in Lilith too in namcoXcapcom, I hated it that they paired them when you add them to the party.
One Punch Man is a must watch/read, although, well, who am I to say when something is good? Ppl can like bad things, as well as dislike good things; but I'm willing to bet this manga is good, as long as you get it, because I've met ppl that just don't like it because they didn't get it, like Arin from GameGrumps, he hates it, says it becomes the troops it's parodying too quickly (ehhh, no, it's one of the troops SINCE the beginning), but that's not the point of the series, my scumbag brother said he didn't liked it because they didn't explain anything (again, not the point, but in this case they DO explain, he just somehow missed it, as hard to believe as that is), then another guy I know said he didn't liked it because and I quote "He never shows his true power" (If he would do that, even the freaking tv will explode! lol again, not the point of the series). A lot of ppl don't get also that he's the strongest, the. s.t.r.o.n.g.e.s.t, period,, no matter who you match him against, he's gonna win, because THAT'S the point of the series, it'a about the strongest hero that will ever be, that's why no one stronger than him will appear (as long as the author doesn't fuck up, that is), for some reason ppl have a hard time grasping that fact, that he's the ceiling, an unsurpassed ceiling, there's nothing upper, that's it, he's lv infinity, its like if I made a story about the most beautiful woman in the universe, it doesn't matter if you don't like how I drew her, and if you think another char is prettier, for all ends and purposes that character would be THE most beautiful, yes, just because I made a story about that, mind you, there's only one spot, and the author (One) took the spot for the strongest shonen char (he's no invincible btw, just the strongest, that's why I made the distinction of mentioning shonen), no one else dared to do it, but he said, fuck it, you wanna go op as fuck, let's go ALL the way. As I said, I personally think the point is for him to be able to enjoy life again, and have fun along the way with all the secondary chars that fill up 90% of the story; besides, this is no different that you regular shonen like naruto or DBZ, you know the main char is gonna win at the end, so is Saitama, just in this case, you end up actually rooting for the bad guy, even when you know they will lose SO bad, it's a strange feeling.
