Description
I redesigned Korvax, and it was completely necessary. His (currently unnamed) species has gotten developed like crazy, and what was once just a big joke/trope used to poke fun at all those senseless blob aliens has gotten a quirky culture and has established a firm place in the galaxy. They're now the most populous race and are all descendants of the "mother" cell. They live in tubes in the ocean, and take inspiration from the bright-colored corals and fish in their suit designs, which were modified over the years to appear more anthropomorphic.

There's some conspiracy as to why these people have chosen to appear more familiar to look at, even assuming the shapes of bodies and faces seen in a variety of other races. They are comfortable enough sloshing around as a gelatinous blob, but have consciously changed their appearance through their suits to enhance communication between races. They seem to be emulating behavior exhibited by other species, but often come across as erratic or awkward instead. These people will swear they're being perfectly normal, though.

A popular hair gel line called "Blue" was a cheap and effective alternative to other hair gel brands at the time. Sooner or later the "secret ingredient" happened to be ground up from the likes of these folks. Shut down factories in over 3000 star systems after that was discovered. Scandalous.
