Description
Spent an hour or so at the coffee shop, and started doodling animals set inside circles made by tracing the plastic coffee lid. The end results included this little wolverine, which wound up on a small MDF plaque, 5 inches in diameter. (The sides of the plaque are the shade of blue photoshopped around the edge of the image--given it's a slightly 3-D effect, I had to improvise on the digital version.)I kinda like the circular format...it's limiting in a good way.

Okay. Look, I'm sorry, I know the last time I commented on your work it was to criticize how you drew rats, but that was like a year ago and you are still doing exactly what I was critical of before. This, your drawing, it doesn't look anything like a wolverine. Look at this actual wolverine: [link]
A wolverine, like most mammalian predators, has a snout distinct from the arch of the forehead. The wolverine has a long solid curving skull, sure, but there is still a distinct muzzle. Also, the ears are set on either side of the skull, not between the very end of the cranium and the neck. The eyes are set forward like a predator's, because it is a predator and needs binocular vision. It has a nose much like a dog's, a mouth, and the ruff of fur around the neck connects up around the ears, not just under the eyes. It has more than three claws, which are set into the thick digits of its paw and not right into the leg.
You have given this creature you claim is a wolverine the profile (a lumpy, descending arch) and the body type (a bean bag with a tail) of every other mammal you have ever drawn. If you had said it was a rat or a wombat or a rabbit or a weasel or a badger or a hippo or a wolf, everyone would believe you, because all of your animals have the same slumpy bull-terrier face and apparently I am the only person watching you that seems to have noticed that different animals have different facial structures.
Please, if you are going to keep on drawing animals, run a basic google search to see what they actually look like before you start. The fact that you drew this in a coffee shop doesn't excuse you from trying for some accuracy, because you had plenty of time between trying to draw a wolverine and putting the finished result on online and telling people it was a wolverine to actually look at a wolverine.

Did you have fun writing that? Look art doesn't always have to be accurate and maybe this is ursulav's way of drawing animals. I love her art and her style,they have a cartoony look to them and I just looked at the link and I see the resemblance in her drawing. I just looked at your page and the drawing you have posted there (The girl with a crow) isn't realistic its a sort of cartoon,I could go on and say how your crow doesn't look exactly like a crow but i'm not because that's your style. Look everyone has a different style which is good otherwise we would all be the same.Its good to be different. -_-

I love circles too. I was doing circular animal totems on leather (doing two circles and attaching them together) but this looks so much better than my designs!
