Description
I had a very short amount of time left before Trinoc-Con, which I attended, and I needed some small originals. So I whipped out these little 5 x 7's of lizards and slugs, to fill up space. Predictably, they were more popular than any of the pieces I slaved over, people would say "Wait--were you the one who did the organ-grinder slug?!" (Nevermind that there were giant, complex acrylics of the Twigjack and the Squashbats and Unicorn & Cardinal, it was all about the slug...)There's also a Slug Charmer in the same vein, but this is my favorite. Original sold in the auction, prints available, drop a line!

That's uber cute. I especially like their colour - and I even dislike pink! And I love the triton's face. Very funny, for some reason. He's got a "the hell?" look on his face. And that hat is such a lovely detail.

I'm not sure if the expression on the lizard's face is the best part, or if it's the fact that the snail appears to have the...special tassles that strippers are sometimes reported to wear...xD
Seriously though, this is great. I love that your art is so amazingly good, but you don't always take yourself so seriously. =3

Isnt it sad how that works? I recently did an 'experiment' and drew a cutesy 15-minute drawing of a certain overpopular anime character, and uploaded it directly after a detailed fantasy art I spent hours on.. guess which got loads more attention? 
Anyway, I love all your work, even the little cutsey ones to the big detailed ones.

I was excited to see another slug-based painting. What can I say? Those slugs are cute. So are those little bug-eyed pink lizards. They look so adorably paranoid!
