I really don't know what to feel when I look at this picture.It is clearly the best digital painting I have made (imho).
Yet on the other hand, this 'real' Lee creeps the hell outta me. Seriously, when I drew those eyes on paper they didn't look awful at all. But now... Christ.
I'm not sure whether this is a failure or not. It kinda fails being cute yet could this be what Lee would look if he were real?
EDIT: Fixed his nose. If this looks even worse let me know and I'll submit the original again.

I'm sure Lee does have night vision with his big eyes. Which kind of scares the crap out of me. Could you imagine trying to sneak around at night and suddenly see those eyes? Talk about heart attack.

This is definitely not a failure! This is incredible, I can't believe how well you mixed a realistic style with the show's anime style! Plus, Rock Lee is the coolest character ever!!!

The original idea was Lee in autumn theme, hence the colours.

The nose is probably too straight which makes him look more geometric, like a sculpture. Otherwise it's a great job on shading o/

He has those 'Orly?' owl eyes XD and they will always be creepy~ but still great painting ;D

This is amazing. Out of all the characters, Lee has to be one of the hardest to bring to life in this way, his whole form is very cartoonish. You've done an excellent job, well worth your effort and very very unique. Thank you for making this.

Wow, this looks amazing! I love the eyes, because they look kinda like if i touched them, they would feel like putting my finger into a bowl or something. I like his outfit as well, very creative.
