Description This is pen and ink assignment of an animal using stipple as a design element. Thousands of dots were used to create the impression of this elephant. Enjoy!

WOAH! Thank you so much for selecting this as a DD. I know this praise is a bit late, but I haven't been on in a while and just found out yesterday. I'm speechless and overwhelmed by the positive comments that have been given. I'm just happy there are people out there that like it! It took a little over 20hrs to complete (about a week off and on) and I really didn't think I would get it done in time but it worked out well.

lol, thanks. The actual picture size is 5x7 I believe. The sad thing is, the original piece has been... well, lost.
I've packed up all of my old school stuff in so many boxes that I've lost track of which box this drawing is in. Oh well, I still have it somewhere. I'm just not sure where.

That is so disappointing, but I really hope you find it someday! I just found a folder full of drawings I made like three years ago. And it's hilarious hahaha But yeah, this is awesome.

I'm also surprised I've never tried making stipples on smaller paper, it would probably make the process way faster So thanks!

Stippling is so frustrating to do, all those little dots are pesky, but THIS is something else! I really love the textured look to this. Really wonderful job!

Most people don't realize this, but that stipple elephant is only 5x7. Very small if you think about it.
