We don't even know if he's immortal really... He hasn't been pink long enough to visibly age.

He's never been seen getting hurt after turning pink either.
He only has the eye scar from the explosion that killed him originally.

"Most likely". We don't know.
We also don't know if he's killable or not. Its not like Lars has ever tried killing himself after turning pink, if he has and he isn't invulnerable...well he would be dead 
Lion hasn't been killed either, because again he wouldn't be around if he was.
We haven't seen either of them get injured, so for all we know they could be completely invulnerable
For the sake of the comic though I've given Lars quick healing, he could walk of several injures that would leave a regular person bedridden for days or even dead.
If the show actually makes a statement about this I'll adjust to that, but so far I only have my own theories to go on.
