Description

In one of my DnD-games I play a vulpin wizard with a rabbit familiar. Because there were no stats for a rabbit in DnD I just used cat-stats for the first few session…then I discovered the Almiraj.

A horned rabbit originating in from the feywild who are also legal familiars. So I decided to change Lily the rabbits’ stats to that of an almiraj (except she’s smaller…Almiraj are small, which by DnD-terms makes them roughly goblin-sized, and I need Lily to be small enough to fit inside a hat for character-reasons.

I also needed an explanation for her sudden “transformation”.

…Well technically I didn’t. She had “died” before I found this creature and when you resummon a familiar you can change its shape.

But I wanted an explanation… at leas this is who Remus interprets her “evolution”. Decided to also make her horn really small, and since she’s based of a lionhead its barely visible.. but you’d feel it if you pet her.

I always imagined Lily as a fey spirit, so it would make sense if she was just a young almiraj who’s horn is only just starting to grow.
