I drew some of the berrybatling.
First his Strawberry as a cute little babybat.
Second is him around 5 years of age, when his parents got killed.
Third is a couple of years later when he gets his cutie mark (for cheering up the other kids at the orphanage). I decided when drawing this that when he’s happy his tail just opens like a wing.
Fourth is an adult changeling-Strawberry with two of his kids.
About the changeling’s eyes… changelings get pupils when they manage to gather a lot of love, this is why Queens (who are usually raised among ponies as their children) have different eyes from the common workers.
Raspberry, Gojiberry and Cranberry are raised in a pretty loving environment alongside ponies as well, so they have pupils. They’re not quite queens though so their eyes are still red. (Changeling workers and drones of his universe has the same color eyes and wings, Queens have green eyes always.)
