Rampage Prompt Submission
EXP to Claretta Derosiars

After the military slain the dragon and stopped its rampage, Claretta followed the other civilians to the scene to help douse out the remaining flames and calm those who just escaped from the blaze. Although a few soldiers assured the nervous spectators that it was just an accident, the light elf managed to notice a few who still weren't calmed at all. She didn't blame them, because neither could she convince herself to not worry. As someone who normally scoff at the idea of destiny and prophecy, for a split second she imagined that the loose dragon is a payback to Miras for using them to attack the other cities. No, that would be ridiculous, she thought. Even a baseless proclamation of conspiracy theory would be less ridiculous than that. Keeping the uneasiness to herself, she followed the others back to the inn and resumed their daily schedule.

Experimental experimental experimental because the scene is supposed to be happening at a morning-ish time while this looks... I'm not sure lol
It has been a while since I draw anything for this group and I ended up with a rather experimental sketch. Started out just sketching in duotones but ended up changing into a colored one...  Eh not sure how I feel about this but it's always fun experimenting???? :' )

Well Claretta hasn't been up to much in recent events but this one definitely made her extra worried. However she is stuck, not sure what possible actions to make. The fact that one of her sister and her elderly parents are still somewhere in Delverne didn't help at all. She is now probably staying 24 hour on alert mode ready to flee to somewhere less crowded from the city if anything happens o|-<

The one thing I love about 'messy' brushstrokes is that they are just so diddly darned expressive- it really adds to the chaos of the moment!  >7<  And aaaaa I love the colors, too omg~

ahhh I'm glad you like how it turns out <3 thank you
there's something that makes it super satisfying to draw with rough strokes for me hopefully not because I'm also a lazy person

Same, though-- I've always loved impressionist works too, so visible brushstrokes have been such a huge aesthetic in paintings that I value.  <3
