NAME: Yuri Kimazui

NICKNAME: Mazui =not good; unsavory; poor; unwise in Japanese, it was given to him in middle school

DIVISION: Weapon-User
-Rokushaku-Shikomi: A 6ft. staff with a chain hidden inside it. At the end of the chain is attached a metal object which also serves as a cap. This "cap" fits tight in the one end of the staff where the chain would otherwise easily come flying out. When used correctly, the cap can be swung off and around thereby significantly increasing the range of the weapon to the surprise of the opponent.
Yuri uses his weapon in a variety of ways; using it as a regular staff or spear in half offensive half defensive technique, or using it with the chain in a mainly defensive technique, swinging the staff with great dexterity to move the chain in ways to eitehr strike against the enemy with the weight from afar, or use the chain to bind objects/people, using the staff end to tighten its hold or charging with the sharp point of the staff while the enemy is bound in the chain. (The chain may also be swung manually without swinging the staff)
-SPECIAL ATTACK
-CHAIN LINK BARRAGE: The chain of the Rokushaku-Shikomi breaks apart link by link and is shot toward the enemy in a rapid fire barrage as if they were heavy bullets.
-COOLDOWN TIME: 3 hours. His head becomes very foggy from concentration and the chain pieces take a while to form again, therefore making the Rokushaku unusable for the duration of time.

BIOGRAPHY:
Yuri was 6 years old when his parents recieved great jobs at a high ranking company in Asteri Island where he was born. His family was estatic for them, and always made sure to remind Yuri that even though they would hardly be at home, they were working hard to give him a great life. For 4 years that saying had worn down on him. He never saw much of his parents and suddenly couldn't remember their faces anymore. His estranged family members became hard on Yuri when he had confessed his sudden memory loss of them. They told him that he was ungrateful and spoiled causing his parents great shame. He regretted ever having such a horrible memory lapse that it worried him to what else he may have forgotten about his life and family.
On his birthday a package had arrived for him, Yuri thought it could have been from his parent's but it wasn't. Inside was a cellphone. Most of his worries about forgetting his parents vanished away when he fiddled around with it, and the camera that was in it. A camera could safely store any precious memories he didn't want forgotten. Over the years, his phone was like his best friend, he would read about forget-me-nots and that elephants never forgot anything to the phone. He took pictures constantly of things he never wanted to forget.
Upon taking more pictures, he recieved a message from Star Crown High inviting him to enroll there. It was just another place to make memories and more learning experiences. He was immediately enrolled. He learned about the remnants and his abilities.
His first year was a lonely one, he missed his parents more than ever and tried contacting them many times, but there was no response. School life wasn't at its best either, he was too awkward toward the other students, and hadn't grasped a way to commit the lessons he was given to memory, often failing his classes. Now in second year, he has a more convenient way of taking notes properly and diligently, never to miss a thing. And enlisted in the photography club, eager to make memories.

RELATIONSHIPS:
SHIRAISHI AKIRA
He met his kouhai in the cafeteria and found him fun to play/talk with and very pretty. He fought a remnant with him on one particular night and doesn't mind his fighting style nor does he think he gets in the way of his "fun" too much. He wonders why he took pity on one that night. He wants to make him lots of different foods and be closer friends.

ALICE L. WARD
He met him unexpectedly as his hair was inspected by this kouhai~He was amused at Alice's curiosity over his hair and other things. He feels Alice is a nice and funny person and hopes to get to know him a lot better. He's attracted to his cheerfulness.

PIERROT YASUHARU
Finds himself easy to talk with him~ He got lost and was helped out very nicely. And until Yasu had to go to class, Yuri just up and followed him into his first year class like it was no issue//OTL. They talked a lot about classes and hopes to maybe have a friend in him and maybe a homework buddy

KUROSEI YUKA
He woke her up while she was sleeping outside for directions to the dorms and had a interesting talk with her. He finds her very amusing and pretty nice for a first awkward meeting....He has yet to know what she means by his name could mean "girls love" ...

NICHOLAI REGENT
One of the two people he first met as a second year.She was very helpful to him and he liked her cheerfulness and her attitude. He finds her a friend and very much wants to make more memories with her and become better friends. He hopes he can open up to her now that he's more aware of how caring she can be. They even hunted down a small remnant bug~!

MATSUMOTO ERI
He finds it easy to talk to her about practically anything. Likes her abundant energy and curiosity, not really minding if they're put in a teasing way or not. Wants to be a good friend with her and believes she's more special than she believes herself to be.

EXTRA:
-His parents were actually killed by remnants around the time Yuri was 13. He may have gotten a call from one of his family members about it, but just thought the number was a miss-dial because he couldnt recognize(remember) the number that was calling them. To this day he still believes they are working hard every day.
-His other family members consist of his Aunt/Uncle and grandparents on his fathers side living outside of Asteri Island
-He used to love watching shooting stars, and even took a picture of one at just the right time, but after living at Star Crown High, he cries a little when he sees a shooting star.
