Such a painful and private moment for poor Severus, yet you've managed to imbue it with a feeling of sensitivity and maintain his dignity in this pic. Love his hair, and the angle by which his nose and eyelashes are rendered.

Before I came up with this version, I did some sketches of this scene from different point of views - but somehow I was not happy with showing Snape from the front or the side. The approach from behind gave me the possibility to show his emotions, but also leave him alone in this private moment...

I was afraid, putting the tear in might overdo it. But since it is described in the book, I added it. Now IΒ΄m quite satisfied with it.

This is a difficult scene to render, because we virtually never see Snape show such emotion. You've drawn this so well... and I love the title.
