That's exactly it! how can those guys wear latex and spandex and yet *not* squeak every time they move a muscle? 
I suppose you *could* minimise the sound by walking like a gunslinger with your legs spread out... but it wouldn't be very comfortable or efficient for crime-fighting, would it?

Thinks like who pays for damages? How do super heroes support the massive bills? Do they have sponsors? Who's going to stop all the crazy people from jumping off buildings just to meet their favourite hero. Stuff like that.lol

That's it. I WANT TO SEE a dispirited Batman and Robin angsting over their ridiculous maintenance bills (how much gas and resources do you think the Batmobiles and their Batgadgets eat up anyway?) and damage claims and court orders.... and literally *swimming* in piles of paperwork.
Oh, and on top of which, there's the pressing need for huge wardrobes of the same costume.

Let's be very serious for a moment, difficult I know....but imagine I am a spotty, testosterone fuelled, hormone filled teenager which I happened to have been in the distant past. If I knew that lets say, I "happened" to fall off a big scyscraper that one of the following things could happen:
a) I fall to my death! Splat.
b) I get rescued by a testosterone fuelled, hormone filled male super hero...
c) I get saved by a near nude super babe.
d) I miraculously get struck by a strange cosmic beam giving me the ability to fly and I henceforth call myself. Mr Super Incredible!

"self! if you are tossing yourself off this big ass building in hopes that say batman the hunk would come and save me..wouldn't every other female being doing the same thing. Batman is awesome but he can't be everywhere at once...so in the name of self preservation perhaps I'll just get my sorry ass back into the elevator and ride down like everyone else.
Perhaps in my weakened female teenage brain I may contemplate waiting for a less busy day so poor batman doesn't wear out his combat short (or perhaps mess them up) when he missed one of two of those hopeful gals...but you know fate and how fickle the bitch can be....

Ahaa! True, but that's why I considered teenagers. Hormones make them do crazy things. We being wise and sensible adults would ponder the ill effects of landing on your face after a 300 foot drop. However I'm not so sure they would.
Anyway it's just a thought....
I have these ideas that I think would make a great comic book. Basically it's trying to imagine how real world occurrences would affect superheroes. Things like paying for damages or how would a super hero afford all his super gadgets if he wasn't already filthy rich a la Bruce wayne. Would they have sponsors like Nike or something? Also how come the costumes don't burn or get damaged when they're in a big fight... stuff like that lol. Just wierd ideas from a wierd mind.
