Actually, they did give her a chance, she just had too much pride and fly away seeking revenge towards them. So it will never be a question of ''didn't give her a chance''
because she is the only one to blame for her own sadness...

Was it really pride? We know nothing about her past, or even how old she is. A LOT could have happened to her, enough to scar her deeply and even irreparably. You'd think Starlight and the others would ask about Chrysalis from her Hive to learn why she is the way she is, but nope. All those "geniuses" and none of them think to ask "Why is she like this?". Knowing why would help them understand why she is the way she is.

I don't mean Twi and her friends, no. I mean her race and essence, her past and future, creators of her personality. Nobody becomes bad person because of good life. Circumstances of her being and development like a character.

I understand what you mean now and true, she seems to worried a lot about her hive, because she wasn't ready to be a leader... maybe she has been forced to be the leader. And she probably has been like Thorax once. But it was too late since she has been the chosen one, and an entire hive against her.. she surely had no chance to express herself...

I just finished the season 7 on Dailymotion aaaaand.... It was okay? I mean, I adore the whole historical thing, and to know more about Starswirl is amazing! But to bring them back? I am not so sure about it, all I truly enjoyed from his comeback is when he saw Luna and Celestia once again and it happened only at the end. I love also how they incorporated all those legends, and that they are all the ancestors of the M6, I found it cute and I am sure a lot of fan arts are on their way XD
The villain design was awesome, I truly adore it! I also expect a comeback from it. Since the shadow used to be a lonely soul before meeting that colt (forgot his name, sorry ^^'')
What disappointed me with him his how much he talks.
