These are getting too good, seriously. And you still feel like you don't deserve praise?
For me, this is truly original style, dripping with colors, different shades, and there seems to be interesting story behind some of them. Like it wasn't enough, you're always putting heart into it, resulting in creating wonderful, special atmosphere. Not to mention that every time it's different experience. Here we have some darker themes, jugding by scenery and overall impression. It is also mysterious and I absolutely love the way you've presented journey. Starting from background, I really like the contrast between cracked, rock tunnel and spilling out force in form of a bright, cyan streams of energy. Despite this, the scenery feels like somewhat claustrophobic, hot path for your character to cross. But it doesn't seem to be a problem.
And here we are - your original character. I've seen her before, I'm sure of it. She has courage and determination written all over her face; her mouth, partially closed eyes, slightly wrinkled eyebrows. Even though this isn't fashion show, you haven't forgotten about black eyeshadow and thick eyelashes. A little detail, but makes her look nice enough Speaking about details, I have to mention amazing work on her body - a little fur on legs, ears, strong bat wings and properly brushed mane. Her armor also looks reliable as plate armor made with made of many metal plates. Everything seems to be measured, properly designed. It denifitely has some dark fantasy vibe to it. It reminds me of classics cRPG games. Good times
Another thing - solid and though-out work on shading and lighting. Especially on her face and armor. Look closely - red light is visible on the werge of her mane, and even eyelashes. Those lights also emphasize her facial features better. The armor doesn't have much polish, but it confirms that it has been made with hardened materials and its primary function is to protect from enemy's attacks rather than looking good. Scenery is also properly lighten which helps to create mysterious, dark atmosphere about which I mentioned before. Maybe I should add that it's also somewhat magical. And those elegant reliefs on the wall... I swear, they reminds me of "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night" a little.
If there's any thing that I could criticise, maybe her wings are placed too close her head? Shouldn't they comes more from her back rather than her neck? I've seen your previous works and I always thought that wings were placed a little closer to the back. But I know nothing about ponies' anatomy, I see them as a cartoony characters, so... Yeah. Just my thought.
It's another wonderful work. Everything it's executed so well and it has so many details, so much atmosphere, it's just amazing Fantastic piece of art, you managed to impress me once again and I'm triggered to see your other works. Can't wait for new drawing, can't predict what will be next. Keep it up!
