I've just starting re-watching Armada on boxset today. Btw, why do fans hate the human characters so much? I find it kind of hypocritical and ironic.

Because fans always wanna nitpick on Transformers stuff that isn't G1, that's why... Glad you're taking your time to properly watch Armada though, that puts a smile on my usually frowning face

I watched the second episode today. I think that I might have told you this before, but I bought the Shout! Factory boxset for Christmas. Up until then, I've only had several episodes on DVD. I've known all about that Geewhiner banality before, but I've learnt that they don't look quite so bad compared to the Star Wars fanboys. 
I'm actually concerned that fans hate on the human characters in any Transformers series (including G1). I find ironic and hypocritical considering they are human themselves and that they would be equally useless in a Transformers story.

Yes, that is very true. Sari is one of the best characters in TFA in my opinion. Speaking of Geewhiners, I read this negative review of this UK Armada DVD and the reviewer was complaining that Megatron turned into a tank instead of a gun, which is an example of blatant Geewhinery. I personally think that a tank would be much more effective and useful alt mode than a puny pistol.

Agreed. And I don't care if some fans think that Armada is like Pokemon. Transformers is way better and cooler than Pokemon, to be brutally honest.
