Your take is great! Yes, exactly my opinion and the reason why I made/make a lot of Spawns. He's a multifarious type of guy!

Hi james7371! I just checked your artwork and of course you can use these to colour them in Photoshop or maybe in Painter. I use Photoshop and even do the basicsketches with the software in combination with a cintiq graphic tablet/monitor. I block in the colours over my sketch and lay some scanned/photographed structures over it. After hours, days, years of combining/rearranging I'm finally (hopefully) happy with the result. Then the artwork can be uploaded here on DevArt
There are many other ways to color your artwork in Photoshop. My way is a little painterly and loose and experimental..you have to find out your special way/technique which comes naturally when you work on your stuff! Best. U.

Thanks so much for the info. on this! I`m definitely going to try this. What is the exact name of the software you use? Like if you buy it what does it say on the box?

yw! I'm working with an older version of Photoshop: CS2. You can buy CS6 nowadays. If you start working with it, it could be useful to have a look at tutorials. For example here:

A lot more can be found in the WWW!
