My entry for .NatsuGray Week (Gratsu Week) Day 4-Gender Bender.
Since this is NatsuGray, it is obvious to make Gray as a female. I think the female version of Gray will be named as Grace or maybe Grayana (I donβt think Mashima-senseiβs choice, Gureko, as the best name). Ironically, female!Gray still maintain her subconsciously stripping habit.

Love it! And definitely, fem!Gray would keep the stripping habit.
Grayko is just putting the Japanese feminine "-ko" on the end, like English would put "-ette" to change a male name like "Jean" into "Jeanette," or Spanish would change the "-o" ending to an "-a" to change Mario into Maria.

I know that. Still, I think Grayko (or Gureko in transliteration version) is unusual in my mind. That is why I am confused to choose the proper name of female!Gray.

It doesn't help that "Gray" can be a girl's name.
