Penelo's eyes are especially well done in this one, very deep - actually her whole face is really pretty. Almost doll-like.

I drew and colored it all in Photoshop with an Intuos3.
I usually scan pencil drawings and then color them later on in Photoshop but I was testing out a new technique this time. Drawing with a tablet is kind of hard for me though...so I might go back to my old methods if it doesn't get any easier. XD
btw, looking at your icon reminds me to finish Larsa. lol...he's a part of this set too. :]

That's what I thought too before I actually bought the thing. lol. I thought it would be easier to use. Maybe it's more difficult for me because I tend to turn my paper a lot when I'm drawing with pencil...but if I turn a tablet, it'll only confuse me. XD ..I have a hard time stroking counterclockwise objects and waves consistently (like C or S shapes)..I can do it once but when I'm stroking repeatedly for drawing hair...well it gets difficult. hahaha. oh well. Mirror flipping the image helps enough...
I also tend to draw with a very thin pencil to make details but that doesn't translate to the tablet very well either 'cause when I make the photoshop brush as thin as possible, it's hard to control plus it's hard to see on the monitor....and now I'm rambling...
Will do! I'll finish Larsa right when I'm done with my commissions.

Yes, there's something very different about drawing traditionally since you can see what you're drawing and your pencil is on the paper directly. The brush cursor could be so tiny that you couldn't see it! Oh. You're not!

geez, a mouse!? I used to do that but I never stuck to it. 
Actually, straight after drawing a lot with the tablet, I can draw even better with pencil and paper (or at least that's what I lead myself to believe) so I guess it's good training for my hand. lol

Hahah! Yup, they hurt a lot, but my older brother really does it well. I gave it up and just went to photomanipulating, and that's where I'm better at now.
Oh. left-handed, I'm a little ambidextrous, but I use my right more often.
