Yeah. I'm gonna have to explain things, aren't I? Okay, well, to start, my cousin and I were playing through Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars on the Game Boy Advance (great game, go play it if you haven't). And somewhere along the line, we ran into a Gendarme (a French police officer-- the game takes place mostly in France) and he had a case about a man who was travelling through the sewers to get from place to place. According to him, his precinct had dubbed this sewer traveller "Sewer Jacques." The irony was, it was the main character who had been travellingin the sewers. His name is George. The guy in this picture. Now, keep that in mind for a moment.
A couple of days later, I see my cousins again at an anniversary party of some friends of the family. A huge party on a huge estate. So huge, the hosts had to rent a Port-A-Potty. A blue one, in fact. From a company called Blue Loo. Now, the little granddaughter of the couple celebrating the anniversary, she went around the place in the morning and tied pretty coloured balloons to things. She tied a red balloon to the Port-A-Potty, or, Blue Loo, if you will.
So, that's how the joke started. We called the thing the Blue Loo with the Red Balloon. Try saying it out loud. No, really. It's just that catchy. In the end, we just put poor George into the Blue Loo, covered in, yeeeeah... you get the picture. That's what you get for travelling sewers.
And when I say George here, I'm not refferring to my tinsel pet. I would never allow him to travel in the sewers.
