It didn't bother me that their eyes were crimson, gazes filled with supernatural hate. It was *her* eyes. Not the six-shooter in her hand, nor the biggest crow I've ever seen perched on her cloaked shoulder; It was her red, deathly beautiful eyes. Staring at me, drawing me into their alluring depths. I felt like drowning. They called to me, whispering unspoken promises.
And gladly I answered..."
